Abstract:
Image stacks of wild type Canton S fly heads using white light illumination. These images were used to classify and quantify the head bristles (mechanosensory structures). The processed images are published in Figure 1 and Figure 1 – figure supplements 1-2 of the manuscript “Somatotopic organization among parallel sensory pathways that promote a grooming sequence in Drosophila (https://doi.org/10.1101/2023.02.11.528119)”. The stacks used to produce these images are organized based on gender, individual (e.g. Fly_1 and Fly_2), and head orientation (e.g. anterior and posterior).
