Abstract:
These data are part of a series of experiments examining how olfaction and olfactory behavior change as a function of age in the
clonal raider ant. Here, we dissected, fixed and antibody-stained the brains of young (2 week old) and old (2 month old) clonal
raider ants that express GCaMP6s in olfactory sensory neurons. All brain neuropil is labeled by an anti-Synorf1 antibody, while the
GCaMP signal is not amplified. These data reveal that GCaMP intensity is similar across the young and old groups.
