Abstract:
This dataset comprises a series of experiments corresponding to the imaging data described in the associated publication (PMID: 39763754). Animals were transcardially perfused with paraformaldehyde (PFA), and brain tissues were subsequently collected and processed for histological analysis according to the protocol detailed in the paper. Coronal brain sections were prepared from all animals included in the study and imaged using fluorescence microscopy. These sections were obtained to assess recombinase-dependent reporter expression as well as viral-mediated transgene expression.

Methods:
A detailed protocol for this work is available in the associated publication (PMID: 39763754) and on protocols.io (https://www.protocols.io/view/histology-fushiki-et-al-2024-5qpvo9o49v4o/v1).
