Abstract:
This dataset is part of an experiment demonstrating Composite In Situ Imaging (CISI) on whole coronal sections from a bisected mouse brain. The experiment profiled 37 genes through a combination of composite measurements and validation measurements in 12 tissue sections, with the validation measurements varying in each section. Both types of measurements were made using cyclic HCR-FISH, with composite measurements consisting of multiple probes simultaneously staining with the same dye in a given round of imaging. Composite measurements were decompressed to recover predicted images for individual genes, and these were compared with validation images and used for downstream analysis (e.g. cell type clustering).
